Job Description :
Context
Two researchers from the Research unit on children's psychosocial maladjustment (GRIP), an inter-university research network, are seeking a data analyst to conduct statistical analyses for their respective projects. The analyst would be conducting such statistical analyses within the context of longitudinal studies. The research projects examine the role of early life risk factors in relation to individual development and the development of psychopathology within a multidisciplinary context including behavioural, psychosocial and biological data. This work is being conducted in collaboration with different institutions within Quebec and in Canada.

Job description
The data analyst would work in a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of Dr. Booij and Dr. Herba. He/she would work half-time for each researcher (eg. 17.5 hrs / week with Dr. Booij and 17.5 hrs/week with Dr. Herba). The position will be based at the Research Center of the CHU Sainte Justine. The analyst would be responsible for:

• Applying advanced methods for analysing longitudinal data (e.g., multi-level modelling, structural equation modelling);
• Interpreting and summarising the statistical analyses and results;
• Ensuring quality work in the production of reports and graphics;
• Developing and managing longitudinal databases;
• Contributing to the development of research protocols and the preparation of scientific articles;
• All other tasks in line with the needs of the researchers and their research projects.
Requirements :
Requirements and skills :
• Education level: M.Sc. or M.A. in statistics, public health, epidemiology, psychology or related disciplines;
• Excellent knowledge and expertise of statistical software such as R, Mplus, SAS, SPSS (ideally);
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, autonomy and discretion;
• Ability to manage competing priorities;
• Demonstrates a sense of initiative;
• Good skills in English and French (ideally).

Salary scale: Level 2 – between $22,76/hr and $33.31/hr
